Kennel Fresco is a small private kennel, breeding Dobermans in a home environment. I breed one litter a year, at most. More is not possible to be able to follow up in a proper way. Besides that, the intention is to give my bitches a more meaningful life than just delivering pups.

My goal is to breed a healthy, excellently temperamented
and workable Doberman with an exterior for show.

This goal may seem unachievable, but for me one or the other is not good enough. Why should an excellent working dog not also be good for show, or vice versa? Why choose?

Sure, this goal may be difficult to reach, but the official standard describes a Doberman with all these qualities in one single individual. That individual is the ALLROUNDER I want a Doberman to be. Why should I, as a breeder, not try to achieve all the objectives of the official standard of the Doberman? The dividing of many breeds in working and show types is something I do not want to experience with the Doberman! I emphasize that breeding is a long-term task and all the objectives of the standard are therefore of equal importance. We will otherwise have a division of the breed sooner or later!!

My favorite of all Dobermans is the ALLROUNDER.
By that I mean a companion with the qualities to function as a working dog one day, a show dog the next and maybe practicing obedience day three, still performing good results in all disciplines. The Doberman of my choice has a number of desirable traits; an ability to focus, a willingness to work, power of endurance, an ability to give all in all situations and yet be docile with an attractive conformity.
The fact that the Doberman is supposed to be a loyal companion and a family member makes it even better.
This is DOBERMAN for me!!!

Not to forget…
A kennel is nothing without enthusiastic owners of its puppies. Even the best breed is of no use if puppy owners do not work with their companions.

Kennel FRESCO has often had the privilege to work together with exceptional puppy owners. These puppy owners have worked with their companions in a variety of ways, almost always successfully. The same Dobermans have also been loyal companions and family members and this gives the name ALLROUNDER a meaning.

I pride myself in breeding the true ALLROUNDER.
